The Indian shamans of the Chorotega and Nahua tribes prophesied of two mountains rising up from a freshwater sea and Isla de Ometepe here in Nicaragua was exactly what they were looking for. I came here for the a very un-indigenous Catholic festival honoring Santa Ana and got my first glimpse of the twin volcanoes from the ferry at sunset. Unfortunately the tiny island doesn't have much to do after their fabulous sunsets but later there will be time for exploring.

Hola William... aún sigo leyendo tu blog, me gustan todas las experiencias que has tenido. A veces se pasa bien, otras veces no tanto, pero al final el viaje es como un crecimeinto.
¿Por qué estás en Costa Rica? ¿qué pasó con suramérica, no vas a hacer el viaje al sur?

Oye Mauricio! Me alegre que sigues leyedo mi blog. Estoy viajando atravesar de Centroamerica en vez de Suramerica. Cambié mis planes por el consejo de otros mochileros en Medellín. Me dijeron que el invierno es la epoca equivocada para visitarla. Espero que todo está bien con tu y Vadir y Diana y los demás en mi ciudad favorita de todo mi viaje.

Muy bien, fue una buena decisión, es más complicado viajar con el invierno en el sur... pero entonces el nombre del blog debería cambiar, debe llamarse "central for the summer" jajaja...
Vadir y Diana están bien; hace una semana me encontré con Vadir y le pregunté por ti y dijo que no sabía nada; al parecer sé más yo a través del blog, que tienes muy bien actualizado...
